Online education in India is poised to reach $1.96 billion in 2021 with 9.6 million users. It is scheduled to grow by $ 2.28 billion during 2021-25(2). The popularity of PGDM programme has taken a leapfrog because of improved job prospects. With the onset of Covid19 pandemic PGDM online programs in the higher education segment have suddenly become popular.  Firstly:  Anywhere anytime program with convenience. Secondly: Leading B schools coming up with PGDM online programs individually and/or in partnership with edtech companies giving the best of education and experience. Thirdly: Online PGDM education is asset lite with no building and fixed infrastructure required. This leads to very competitive prices for the programs. Fourthly: Regulatory approvals by AICTE/UGC. AICTE has recognised PGDM online programs. Fifth: For working professionals who want to have job continuity and add additional degree for bettering career prospects. Sixth: Fast documentation and easy availability of attractive EMI, zero cost EMI’s by non-banking finance companies like Eduvaanz, Liquiloans, Credila etc. Seventh: Placement assurance by the colleges and edtech partners is an additional add on. Eighth: Teaching in the blended mode with campus immersion visits has found many takers for this mode of teaching who want to relive a few days in campus.

Following the above Bimtech has started a PGDM online programme with 150 students in Jan 2021. The 2nd batch starts from July 2021. Our tech partner is Upgrad.
