My Journey from BIMTECH to SUD Life

Having a family background of insurance I was very clear about the prospect of insurance industry in days to come & hence had no dilemma when I was to choose specialization at the time of my PGDM course. Having got the choice of course in mind , selecting an institute was a cake walk i.e. BIMTECH. It is the institute which had pioneered a two year full time course in insurance at PG level way back in 2000.
My 2 years journey at BIMTECH has so far been the best phase of my life.BIMTECH provided us 
ample opportunities to groom our personalities. It was not only the quality inputs in class but a great deal of experiential learning through group projects, industry connects, guest lectures, seminars & series of case study competitions which brought great learning.
A compulsory “elevator pitch” slot by our senior Professor was a great moral booster for people like 
us who were not born speakers. Online initiatives by senior alumnus such as CLUB INMOS & Junior Mentorship Programs (JUMP) were unique to nurture the raw talents.
I was picked by SUD Life Insurance Co in campus placement as Management Trainee & started my corporate career in March 2019. SUD Life is a great company to be in. During our training period we were rotated / trained in different departments to understand overall working of life Insurance Company from business procurement to claim settlement. I loved working in the underwriting department & the company was kind enough to honor my hard work by promoting me to Manager Grade 1 in short span of one year.
Looking at my interest in use of technology, the organization transferred me to Customer Strategy Management department wherein I am responsible for managing end to end customer life cycle management and wherein I came across many opportunities to work on various projects related to automation, development of android application, drafting Business Requirement Documents to increase customer satisfaction and driving operational efficiency in day to day operations.
Indebted to my faculty at BIMTECH & mentors at SUD Life for giving a flying & satisfying career path.
